We will discuss the most suitable options with you. Where appropriate a care plan will be arranged.

Therapy options could include one of the following:

 

  • Guided Self Help Parenting -Parenting group to develop positive management techniques for challenging behaviour. 
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) -Individual therapy sessions that deal with thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
  • Parent-Led CBT- Individual or group intervention working with parents directly to help them to use CBT techniques with their children (5-12 yrs).
  • Counselling - Individual child/Young person centred sessions.
  • Friends Programme - Group work to help develop the skills to manage anxiety, develop self-esteem, problem solving and building positive relationships.
  • Individual Therapy Sessions- Focused sessions to meet your individual needs.
  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy with Adolescents (IPT-A) -Individual therapy sessions to focus on low mood/depression.
  • Children's Well-being Practitioners (CWP)- Individual focused sessions to address anxiety/low mood presentation.

We may determine that other services, such as the Children & Young Peoples Service (CYPS) may meet your needs better.
