Give to others

There is research about the benefits of 5 ways to wellbeing – simple steps to do every day. Give is one of the 5 steps to improve your mental health and wellbeing.

Research suggests when we try these things (Giving and kindness) this can help us to feel positive, get more from life and can make people feel happier when they ‘Give’ to others.

You may like to consider what you could do to give to someone else?

Perhaps this may be:

  • Giving a smile to someone
  • Offering to help someone you know
  • Offering a positive compliment
  • Praise your friends and /or family
  • Saying thank you to someone who has helped you
  • Spending time to listen and support friends and family
  • Volunteering at school/college

What could you do to be kind and give to others?

You may wish to draw around your hand on paper and write down what things you could do to give to others.
