Time to Talk Day

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It’s a day for friends, families, communities and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

The aim to that everyone is comfortable talking about mental health. 

Are you able to take part in 'Time to Talk'?

5 a day for mental wellbeing (GIVE, KEEP LEARNING, CONNECT, BE ACTIVE, & TAKE NOTICE) including talking can promote wellbeing. Trying things could help you feel better and help to get the most out of life by doing things to keep well. 5 steps to mental wellbeing - NHS

Here are some ideas and examples you may wish to consider:

Connect- Connecting with others is important. Could you call or text a friend or family member?

Give- could you give your time to talk to someone today? 

Keep learning- could you look on the 'Time to talk' website and find ways to think about talking about mental health 

Take notice- listening is just as important as talking. Notice how your friends and family are feeling

Be active- could you go for a walk, run/bike ride with someone you trust and talk about the experience?
