The Healthy Minds Team is a school based mental health service for children and young people in South Tyneside. We aim to help with mild to moderate mental health and emotional well-being difficulties. We support children and young people from reception age to higher education, including college. We work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, offering support 52 weeks of the year.
3 Roles of the Mental Health Support Team

To support Mental Health Leads in each setting to develop a 'whole school approach' to ensure that all the children, young people and staff work together to understand and support mental health and well-being.
